Fulfill All Righteousness

“And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

Today is Good Friday. As we reflect on what today means– the beginning of the end of Jesus’ physical presence here on earth, I am cannot help but think of how His earthly ministry began; with yet another act of obedience. A public declaration of surrender. A baptism.apexanthologies

As Christ followers, we are called to follow in the footsteps of Christ. To live out our charge to bring Heaven to earth. Baptism is one way we follow our King and submit to His will. This Easter Sunday, Apex will baptize those who have chosen to take the steps to make such a statement of faith. We hope you are able to witness these acts of obedience and rejoice with your fellow citizens of Heaven.

As you reflect on what Good Friday means, take a few minutes to watch others’ baptism stories begin. If you’re thinking about baptism, we’re happy to answer your questions and walk through the process with you.
